I don’t do lines or TikTok famous places so this was hard to share, but in the spirit of wanting the best for my local community business owners, these are my current neighborhood obsessions. If I ever go missing, I’m probably at one of these places.
Ranked in no particular order, just the current winter rotation, which is subject to change in 3-6 weeks when I hyper-fixate on a different WB / GP routine.
🥐 Bakeri - there is one location in Willy & the OG location in GP
This place actually solves all my problems. I hit both locations, but as of late, I left the Williamsburg location in 2024 because I moved on to the GP location. Since the green point one is a little bigger, this spot is actually perfect when you’re alone on a Wednesday afternoon and want to sit.
I get the yogurt bowl, winter salad or the cinnamon roll. The biscuit sando also go crazy.
🩰 Maguire Shoes New WB location on Berry St.
I realized this store is somewhat slept on? It’s so cutie mcgee and has the chicest yet affordable shoes. Obsessica with every collection drop.
🍷✨ With Others Wine Bar on Bedford Ave
This has been and will be a perpetual staple in every WB / GP recco because she is ✨perfect to me✨ Everything you could ever dream of in a wine bar is With Others. The menu, the vibes, the staff, the location. ✅
☕️🇨🇴 Devoción Coffee on Grand St
I just love this lil plant wall and working remotely here during the winter because it’s that cozy coffee shop vibe you’re craving. If you buy a bag of beans, they will also grind it for you 💋
☕️🏺Rhythm Zero Green Point on Kent Ave
I feel like this place has been popping off for a while, but I do lurv the vibes here. I get a different drink every time because their menu is big & fun. it’s chic vibes when you want to be a minimalist euro slay queen.
Intermission for Orebella Blooming Fire combination with the Brooklyn Studio Cypress Tree scented candle. This combo while getting ready in the morning will actually do magical things for your day.
It’s the polar vortex in New York, I know you want noodles - but you don’t know which ramen place to choose. TBH, ordering ramen takeout sometimes hits but honestly most of the time it doesn’t because you need to reheat it then you don’t have the special spoon and you probably forgot to order the diet coke that you also need.
Sitting here is the best excuse to leave the home and the vibes of this place are worth it. They also have a large coat rack, idk why that’s like so important to me - but you’ll start noticing it and it is.
🛋️🪞Beam Home Store on Kent Ave
It’s finally time to buy that cute lamp that’s $500. That might sound out of touch, but like we’re adults and it’s time to invest in cute stuff for your house. My bestie showed me this store and I think that if you buy like 1 thing every month or so from here to bring some personality to your apartment then you’ll eventually have all those fun things you see but never buy.
🧖♀️🧖♂️🧖 Perspire Sauna Studio
Just get a sauna membership for the winter - there isn’t anything else to say. This one is so clean and has showers & hair dryer, etc.
🍵💚✨ Haco Tea Store
This tea store is so freaking cute and has all organic matcha & teas directly from Japan. It’s my favorite I’ve found and the owners are so freaking cutie too. Go get kitted & have this matcha change your life.
